There are more than £100 worth of free gifts for all teams who enter an exciting 6 a side football league which kicks off in Lynn soon.

All teams who join up before the league – which is run by Leisure Leagues, Europe’s largest provider of small sided soccer – kicks off on August 5 and will take place at Springwood High School every Wednesday.

Games cost £28 and happen between the times of 7pm and 10pm. All players will receive free shirts and shorts together with a waiving of the usual £25 registration fee.

Teams will then be competing for a range of top prizes including custom made trophies and medals for the top two teams. There is also a chance to play at the national championships where they will get the chance to represent Lynn and really hit the jackpot, as last year’s winners scooped some top prizes.

In a unique move profits from the league will be donated to charity, for which Leisure Leagues have been praised by, amongst others, David Cameron and Prince Charles.

All standards are catered for, with new business manager Chris Rowntree saying: “We have been running leagues for 30 years and we are confident that we can give the same enjoyment to the community of King’s Lynn that we have already in so many places.”
