LEAGUE CUP 2ND ROUND

Dersingham, of Division Three, made the long trip round the wash to Clenchwarton of Division One.

I don’t think too many people could have predicted the outcome of this game, as Adam Mason notched for the Division One side, but thanks to Robbie Palmer 4, Luke Biles 3, Anton Ely 2 and Nathan Mitchell, Dersingham recorded an emphatic 1-10 away win

On this form, Dersingham could go a long way in this competition.

FANG and Tilney was called off for the third time.

LEAGUE CUP QUARTER FINAL

Flitcham Bell, fresh from making the TGWU Final last weekend, travelled into Cambridgeshire to face mavericks CSKA Emneth, who also made their first final last week.

There was to be no upset though as CSKA defended well and attacked with precision as they recorded a 4-0 win, a result which was somewhat harsh on the Division 2 side.

Adam Drew 2, Dave Abbott and Toby Killingsworth all on target.

Heacham Reserves were unable to field a side against Englands Hope, so Hope progress to the semi final.

DIVISION TWO

March Saracens recorded their first win since October 12th with a 5-2 home win over Tydd St Mary. Tydd’s search for afirst league win goes on, but their efforts and enthusiasm show no sign of waining.

Alan Irvine 2, Dan Smethurst, Ash Taylor and James Jazel all got the Cambs side going, with Gary Simons and Dan Ewing scoring for Tydd.

DIVISION THREE

West Lynn became the new Division 3 leaders with a routine 3-0 win over Fleet, to take advantage of Dersingham’s involvement in the League Cup.

West Lynn can thank Nathan Young, Dan Griffith and Alec Wilkinson for their goals.

Horsepigs Reserves chalked up a 7-1 win over basement boys Watlington.

Oliver Reynolds scored for Watlington with Danny Kew 3, John Murphy, Terry Whitwell, Mathew Weeds and Paul Beckford scoring for Horsepigs.
