Welsh call-up for Peterborough United forward who made his name in non-league football with King's Lynn and Wroxham
Former King's Lynn Town striker Joe Taylor has been named in the Wales Under-21 squad.
The Lynn born-and-bred player, who is now at League One Peterborough United, has been included in the Welsh squad for international fixtures against Austria on September 27.
Taylor has been in excellent form in front of goal for Peterborough United Under-21s.
He has netted in the club's last two Under-21 fixtures and also found the back of the net during the Carabao Cup victory at Plymouth Argyle last month.
The youngster's inclusion in the Welsh squad will see him miss the scheduled League One fixture against Port Vale at the Weston Homes Stadium.
Taylor, whose chances were limited under the former coaching staff at The Walks, made his Linnets debut in the 1-0 home defeat to Solihull Moors last season.
His Lynn recall from a loan spell came after a staggering 21 goals in 13 appearances for Wroxham.
The young hot shot Taylor signed a two-and-a half-year deal with Posh last November.
