Ten-man Fakenham Town lose to late Mulbarton winner in Thurlow Nunn League Premier
Ten-man Fakenham Town lost 3-2 to a late Mulbarton winner in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division at The Daly Group Stadium on Tuesday,
Cameron Beazer was shown a yellow card in each half.
Fakenham began well and in the 16th minute the hosts opened the scoring. Jack Robinson brought the ball up the field down the left flank and cut inside, which found Jack Guyton whose effort struck the bottom corner of the net.
Beazer was shown a yellow card two minutes later and soon afterwards Mulbarton equalised.
Fakenham Town's Mitch Rasberry just past the half-hour mark hit the post and the away goalkeeper was first to pounce on the loose ball.
However, a minute later a Mulbarton mistake allowed in Jake Watts and he rounded the keeper and slotted the ball home.
On the hour a second yellow card for Beazer meant he received his marching orders and on 74 minutes Mulbarton equalised for the second time.
The Ghosts brought on Alex Walpole, Louis Henman-Mason and Matt Franks to no avail, and a late strike meant Mulbarton left with three points.

The result leaves Fakenham in tenth spot.
The Ghosts tomorrow travel to Whitton United, who are in 14th place, while the ninth-position Jockeys of Newmarket are visitors to basement side Swaffham Town’s MG Building Maintenance Stadium.
