Grimston Cricket Club has secured its long-term future after being awarded £9,000 in funding from West Norfolk Council to complete refurbishment work to their pavilion.

The “Community Infrastructure Levy” funding is taken from house builders to support community initiatives, and will enable Grimston CC to renovate its pavilion.

Initiatives which will be funded include new flooring, replacing the existing lavatory, and installing new double glazing throughout; all of which are key steps towards their ambition to use the pavilion for charity events and to be recognised as a key part of the local community.
