Mick Minns and Mike Nobes team up to take the doubles

Adrian’s Oldstars beat Ringstead Raiders 7-2.

Mick Minns and Mike Nobes both kept clean sheets, including teaming up to take the doubles. Super sub Eileen Needham had doubles wins with Minns and Nobes.

The Raiders’ two points came from Richard Hendricks and Steven Stafford with wins over Needham.

Sedgeford Savages’ trio of Ian Rix, Kerry Smith and John Marrow took on Hunnys Heroes. For the Heroes it was Rob and Alfie Yarrow and Graham Keeley lining up.

A close match from start to finish with all three Savages gaining a single win each, plus two of the three doubles, to edge home with a 5-4 win.

The Heroes had Keeley going unbeaten in his two singles while Rob Yarrow had a win over Smith.

Spivs’ on-form Stephen Jackson and son Aaron plus Chris Griggs beat Vips 6-3.

Stephen won both his singles while Aaron and Griggs both chipped in with a single win each over Dave Curtis. Spivs also won two out of the three doubles.

For Vips it was a win each for Jim and Jeff Race plus they teamed up to win their doubles.

Sedgeford Stars took on league leaders BT Victory. The Stars had super sub Benji Richardson the star player of the match, winning both his singles games.

Mike Witley added their third point with a win over Steve Hales in their 6-3 loss. For Victory it was a win each for Ian Reynolds, David Howell-Smith and Hales, plus they won all three doubles and so extend their lead at the top of the table.

The darts league play-off games proved to be very exciting, with the result going down to the last pairs game and the Globe Bowls A team becoming winners of the league.
