Hundreds take part in first Saturday King’s Lynn parkrun of the year




Some 361 runners and 29 volunteers runners took part in Lynn’s first Saturday parkrun of 2025.

In chilly conditions, there were 15 new parkrunners and18 first-time visitors, including Annabel Johnson who took on the role of timekeeper.

Mitchell Bunn finished first in the excellent time of 16:04 and first lady was first-timer Lisa Jarrett in 21:54.

There were also several milestones on the day, with Darren Van Campehhout, Lea Crawford, Katherine Pratt and Ian Lawson completing their 50th parkrun, Daniel North, Andy Wicklen and Michael Carter their 150th and Jill Graver her 200th.

Congratulations were also given to Trudy Walker, who was volunteering for the 200th time.
