King’s Lynn host Swindon at the Adrian Flux Arena on Wednesday in a mouth-watering Elite League clash (7.30).
It’s been almost four weeks since the Roger Warnes Transport Stars were last in action, but the Norfolk outfit will be looking to pick up three more Elite League points as they aim to build on their run of three meetings without defeat.
The Stars have drafted in Swedish racer Freddie Lindgren to guest at No.1 while Aussie ace Troy Batchelor finally makes his long awaited return to the Lynn line-up after recovering from injury.
King’s Lynn promoter Keith Chapman is anticipating a close contest after Swindon’s own recent run of results which currently sees them joint top of the Elite League table.
Said Chapman: “Swindon are a team in excellent form recently, so we are going to be in for a tough test as we return from a break of a few weeks since our last home meeting.
“We’re pleased to see Troy back; he’s a top rider who we are very excited to have back with the club.
“He’s had a good bit of practice and is feeling good, so I’m sure he’ll get up to speed in no time and give us all a big boost.
“I’d like to thank Freddie Lindgren for coming in and guesting for us this week. He’s been in great form, so hopefully he’ll enjoy himself and score a lot of points like he did in the Grand Prix qualifier here recently.”
