King’s Lynn owner Keith Chapman has paid tribute to Roger Warnes Transport after the long-term team sponsorship came to an end.
The Stars will have new team title sponsors for the 2017 season which will be unveiled over the weekend – but not before Chapman has hailed the impact made by his former backers.
“Roger Warnes Transport have been very loyal supporters of King’s Lynn Speedway and it’s only right that I go on record and thank them for their wonderful backing down the years,” he said.
“We’ve been through a lot of highs together, plus the occasional low, but it’s been a great partnership and we thank them for their loyal backing.
“Roger, his wife and the business in general became great friends of the club and they will always be welcome at our meetings to support the boys.
“We will be announcing our new team title sponsors in the next few days as we look forward to what promises to be an exciting season for the club.”
Meanwhile a reminder the Stars have called a staff meeting for Wednesday February 22 at the stadium from 7pm.
They are also looking for 10 voluntary staff members to help on racenights and anyone interested should email email@example.com for more details.
