The official King’s Lynn Stars Supporters Club (KLSSC) are toasting a successful launch night at the Stars versus Wolves match on Thursday.
Endorsed by the management of Lynn Speedway, and run by fans for the fans, the group aims to bring the supporters and club together as one.
A statement on Facebook thanked everyone that helped make the launch a success, adding: “We hope that you back us all the way with this project and that we can unite the fans and the three teams in a way that has been missing for a while now. So whether you signed up as a member or brought raffle tickets, did both or even just enquired about who we are we would like to say thank you for your support.
“We will be in attendance at all meetings unless we post to say otherwise. Our home prior to the meeting will be either under cover outside the bar or if the weather isn’t too nice we may pop inside the bar.
“50:50 raffle tickets are available until one heat prior to the interval (usually around Heat 9).
“Before the start of the meeting we will be alongside the KLSSC membership table by the bar, after that we can be found on the first bend.”
Fans can leave messages in a suggestion box, which will be passed on to management, that can be put in place to help make race nights a better experience.
Membership prices: Adults (18 years-plus): £10. Concessions (students, disabled and OAPs - with proof of ID): £8. Young member (under 18 years): £5.
Social events will kick-off with a quiz night in the Adrian Flux Arena bar in July, date TBC.
