King's Lynn Speedway are looking forward to welcoming fans of all ages for some Easter school holiday entertainment tonight.

The Poultec Stars face rivals Ipswich in a Premiership Supporters’ Cup tie with 15 races of fast and exciting racing.

And skipper Robert Lambert, the current British Champion, says it’s the perfect opportunity for parents and grandparents to bring the kids.

“I was gripped by speedway from a very young age, I loved it,” he said. “It’s a great sport where you can see all the action in every race all the time.

“With the school holidays I guess people are looking for things to do with the kids and this is a perfect chance to spend a great night out as a family.

“I’m sure there will be plenty of travelling fans coming along from Ipswich and we are keen to put one over them. It should be a great night.”

Tonight’s meeting sees a family ticket available for £36 to include two adults and unlimited Under 16s. Admission is available at the gate.

There is also free parking now at the stadium, plus there will be a rider signing session.

Seating is available, plus bars and catering facilities and a souvenir shop.
