King's Lynn Town have announced the signing of winger Michael Gyasi from St Ives Town.

The former Chelsea and Leicester City academy player has scored five goals in 10 appearances for the Cambridgeshire club this term and could make his Linnets debut against Notts County on Boxing Day.

And the Walks outfit may not have finishing strengthening their squad, following the surprise departure of Jamar Loza to Woking on Friday.

Linnets' director of football Rob Back told the club's website today: "Michael is a very good prospect and one we are pleased to have with us at The Walks.

"He is still young and keen to learn and he is looking forward to doing that here.

"He’s not a direct replacement for Jamar Loza and we are still in the market for another player."

Gyasi, who can play on either flank, is cup-tied for tomorrow's re-arranged FA Trophy tie against Alfreton Town.
