King's Lynn Stars rider wants to bring the good times back to the club
Lewis Kerr hopes he can help bring the good times back to King’s Lynn in 2020.
After having one of their toughest campaigns last term, the Stars are looking to recapture their form of two years ago - where they finished top of the Premiership.
“I like the look of the team, we can all improve,” said Kerr “We have got Robert (Lambert) – one of the best no.1’s in the league and Craig Cook as another heat leader.
“We are always going to have a strong reserve no matter what happens and the rest of us are solid so, I think we really have a good team. We will gel instantly because we all know each other so well.
“Without a doubt we want to build something here which goes beyond this season because King’s Lynn deserves to be right up there.
“We have an exciting team and we are getting the feel good factor back around the club and we need a good season.”
The Norfolk racer has proven to be a real fans’ favourite in recent years which is why he has decided to have more of a presence on social media.
He added: “The new season will soon be here and I am excited because we have got a lot of things going on. Everything is going in the right direction with training and bikes so I am excited for this year.
“It is all the little things you know that I need to step up. It is my first year doing merchandise and social media.
“It is not even about making money on it either. You want your name out there and you want your sponsors out there too, which is one of the things I am trying to bring forward this year.”
