LEARN MOREAn anonymous donor has given King’s Lynn Town a huge boost ahead of their first season back in the National League North.
The main stand at The Walks will be sponsored to the tune of £35,000, courtesy of a mystery benefactor, for a second successive season.
A Tweet put out by Linnets owner Stephen Cleeve last night said: "Delighted that our main stand has yet again been sponsored anonymously with a massive £35,000 deal being pledged.
"It will continue to be known as The Stand With No Name – surely the most unique sponsorship deal in English Football at any level."
The 1,000-seater stand, constructed in the 1950s, is the centre-piece of the stadium and is the envy of many non-league clubs.
It has been featured in thousands of pictures, live TV broadcasts and many people’s recollections of memorable matches down the years.
