League leaders King's Lynn beaten by Gloucester City in National League North

King's Lynn Town saw their lead at the top of the National League North table cut to three points as they suffered their second defeat of the season this afternoon.

The Linnets found themselves on the wrong end of a 2-1 defeat at Gloucester City – despite taking an early lead through Theo Widdrington.

Widdrington put the Linnets ahead after 14 minutes at the TigerTurf Stadium, but the hosts levelled through Tre Mitford on the stroke of half-time.
