King's Lynn sign goalkeeper ahead of Hartlepool clash in the National League
King’s Lynn Town have confirmed the short-term loan signing of Theo Richardson - who was once on the books of both Manchester United and Leeds United.
The highly-rated Richardson has arrived from Cleethorpes Town and is expected to start against Hartlepool United tonight.
Richardson will wear the number one shirt while at The Walks and will provide valuable back up to Scottish Under-21 international Archie Mair.
After completing his loan move, Richardson took to Twitter to say: "Looking forward to getting started."
An athletic keeper, Richardson was outstanding for the Owls during 2019/20 and has established himself amongst the best keepers in the Northern Premier League.
The youngster, who will remain with the club for a month, is regarded as an excellent shotstopper.
It is a number of years since he left Leeds United to pursue a career at their rivals Manchester United.
Richardson swapped Leeds’ academy for hopes of a career at Old Trafford, but his spell in Manchester did not last long.
