LEARN MOREKing's Lynn Town have moved to solve some of their goal-scoring issues by bringing in a new striker ahead of their huge National League clash against Aldershot at the weekend.
The Linnets have tonight signed former Colchester United frontman Ken Charles from Cheshunt.
Charles has netted seven times in 15 appearances for the Isthmian Premier League side this season after spending a brief spell at Potters Bar Town, where he netted four times, during last year's curtailed season.
He arrives at The Walks on a deal until June 2023.
Charles started his career at Erith Town FC, alongside being in the under-18s at Maidstone United.
The Lewisham-born striker put pen-to-paper for Colchester United in 2018 after a successful trial, initially joining up with the clubs Under-23s.
The youngster would later be released by the U's at the end of 2018/19 season, and went on to join Enfield Town, making 40 appearances in the 19/20 season scoring 13 times and five assists in his time with The Towners.
