King's Lynn receive home draw incentive in the FA Cup

A home meeting against National League North rivals Kettering Town awaits the Linnets in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup if they can win their replay at Bedford Town tonight.

Tommy Widdrington's side face a tough assignment against the Eagles at the Eyrie having been held to a 1-1 draw at The Walks on Saturday.

The draw is good incentive for both sides while Kettering Town are another one of Bedford Town manager Gary Setchell's former clubs – giving the ex-Linnets boss extra incentive to claim the much-prized scalp of the current National League North leaders this evening.

If successful, it will mean two meetings against the Poppies in the space of a few days for the Linnets, who travel to Northamptonshire for the first National League North game between the two sides on September 27.

The Third Qualifying Round ties take place on Saturday, October 1.
