King’s Lynn drawn away to Workstop Town in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup

King's Lynn Town have been handed a tricky away tie in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup.

The Linnets have been drawn away to Northern Premier League outfit Worksop Town.

Like Saturday's opponents Cheshunt, the Tigers operate at a level lower than Lynn and progressed to this stage with a stunning 6-3 victory over Basford United at the weekend.

And the Northern Premier League Premier Division side have made an excellent start to the new season, picking up 19 points out of a possible 24 from their opening eight games.

The Tigers’ good early season form sees them sit just a point behind Robbie Savage’s Macclesfield in the latest league standings.

Lynn booked their place in the next round thanks to Tommy Hughes' second-half goal in a 1-0 victory at The Walks on Saturday.
