King's Lynn Town drawn away again should they win FA Cup replay
A trip to Leek Town awaits the Linnets if they can overcome Alfreton Town in their FA Cup second qualifying round replay tomorrow night.
The Linnets and Alfreton Town meet again at The Walks to decide who will progress to the third qualifying round of this season’s FA Cup competition.
Tomorrow night will see the third meeting of the two teams within a month after another keenly-fought contest at North Road on Saturday, which ended all square at 1-1.
Leek ply their trade in the Bet Victor NPL South East Division – the same league as Wisbech Town – and are currently second in the league standings.
The Blues, who play at Harrison Park, have picked up 18 points from their opening seven league fixtures.
On Saturday, they progressed to the next stage with a 4-0 victory away to Boston Town.
Ian Culverhouse’s side will be playing for £6,750 prize money tonight, with another£11,250 up for grabs should they progress to the next stage by beating Alfreton in the replay.
