King's Lynn confirmed for 24-team line-up in National League North
King’s Lynn Town now know the 23 teams they will face in National League North next season.
There are some long treks to the likes of AFC Fylde in the North West and Blyth Spartans in the North East, but there are also some attractive games against recently-promoted Peterborough Sports, Kettering Town and Boston United.
Lynn will again lock horns with former Football League clubs Chester, Darlington and Hereford next season. The National League North is a 24-team division and four teams will be relegated.
Competing sides: AFC Fylde, Alfreton, Banbury United, Blyth Spartans, Boston United, Brackley, Bradford Park Avenue, Buxton, Chester, Chorley, Curzon Ashton, Darlington, Farsley Celtic, Gloucester City, Hereford United, Kettering Town, Kidderminster Harriers, King’s Lynn Town, Leamington, Peterborough Sports, Scarborough, Southport, Spennymoor Town, Telford United.
The National North League is scheduled to start on Saturday, August 6.
The Linnets, who are hosting a fans’ forum at The Walks on Monday (6.30pm) have a busy pre-season schedule which includes a visit from Norwich City on Tuesday, July 12.
Tommy Widdrington's troops will also entertain MK Dons at The Walks on July 16, before welcoming Peterborough United to The Walks on July 19 and the club are offering a three-for-two ticket deal for the three home games against league opposition.
Other pre-season games so far: July 9 St Ives (away), July 19 Bury Town (away), July 23 Fakenham (away), July 30 Cheshunt (away).
