King's Lynn Town draw with AFC Fylde in the National League North

A rousing second half fightback helped the Linnets maintain pole position in the National League North after Saturday's table-topping tussle at AFC Fylde.

Tommy Widdrington's side had found themselves trailing 3-1 at half-time in the clash at Mill Farm Stadium.

However, two goals in the final half-hour of the match ensured Lynn returned home with a vital point from their long trip to the north west coast.

The hosts had broken the deadlock midway through the first half when Modou Faal fired Fylde into the lead.

Ben Stephens got Lynn back on level terms a minute before the break, however, they were then hit by a quick-fire Fylde double in stoppage time.

Luke Conlan put the hosts ahead before Nick Haughan gave them a 3-1 lead to take into the half-time interval.

Josh Barrett brought Lynn back into the contest just before the hour mark with Gold Omotayo's equaliser with eight minutes remaining earning a share of the spoils.
