King's Lynn Town FC secure three-year sponsor deal

The Linnets have secured a lucrative three-year sponsorship – one of the biggest deals in the club's history – with two companies.

Lykerlor Business Solutions Limited and MYT SPORTS have joined forces to back the club as it continues its quest to climb the non-league pyramid.

On the new tie-up for Lynn's new home strip, Linnets chairman Stephen Cleeve said: "I'm delighted with the deal and very pleased that Salem Patel's MYT SPORTS have joined the fold alongside Lykerlor Business Solutions Limited to sponsor our home kit.

"From the club's perspective, it's a proper commercial deal and it will help manager Simon Clark field the best side possible out on the pitch. A three-year deal also shows great commitment towards the football club.

"I'm also pleased to announce that we have also found a sponsor for the King's Lynn Challenge Trophy in July and the club will receive a decent four-figure sum. The name of the sponsor will be revealed at a later date."

Lykerlor Business Solutions has recently opened a new office in Lynn where its managing director Kerris Hawes has recently returned to her roots to live.

The company works with businesses to reduce their costs and improve their efficiency, specifically in utilities and communications.

MYT SPORTS, based in London, is a creative organisation that helps people with talent who lack the necessary financial and support resources to fulfil their potential.

All forms of sport are covered and currently people involved in boxing, soccer, snooker, darts and Mixed Martial Arts are amongst those being supported.

"I'm born and bred in King's Lynn, so it's wonderful to be involved with my hometown club," said Kerris.

"I had a conversation with Stephen (Cleeve) towards the end of last season and it just went from strength to strength from there.

"How he sees the club developing over the next couple of years is fantastic and it is great to be a part of it."

Nolan Braterman, chairman of Lykerlor Business Solutions, added: "King's Lynn is a great club with lots of ambition and our ambitions are exactly the same.

""We've got two parts to our business. We feel it is a good fit with what we do and we are looking forward to working together."

In the first year, the MYT SPORTS logo will appear on the front of the players shirts and Lykerlor will have banners strategically placed around the ground.

Display arrangements for subsequent years will be decided before the start of the 2019/20 season.

Meanwhile, Barsby Produce Ltd have continued their sponsorship of the club's away kit.

"I'm delighted that Peter Hancock of Barsby Produce has continued his association with the football club and look forward to working with him again," said Cleeve.

"What we are finding that every sponsor who becomes involved with the club are coming back again because they are enjoying the "King's Lynn experience".

The club also thank both Double G Clothing and Joma for their support with the kit.
