Chesterfield close in on deal for King's Lynn Town striker
Linnets striker Michael Gyasi is set to complete a move to Chesterfield later this month.
Negotiations between the player and the two clubs are believed to be at advanced stage.
Gyasi, who was also being tracked by a Scottish Championship side, has a year remaining on his contract at The Walks.
The 22-year-old who spent the second half of last season on loan at Dover Athletic since January notched five goals in 19 appearances during his time with The Whites.
The German-born Ghanian, who can also play out wide, scored against the Spireites in April at the Technique Stadium and bagged a hat-trick against Wrexham earlier in the campaign.
Gyasi spent his early years with Northampton Town Centre of Excellence before joining Chelsea's Academy at the age of 11.
If he does leave, the nimble-footed forward will join Ross Barrows, Luis Fernandez, Arthur Iontton and Connor Kurran-Browne out of the Walks exit door.
Barrows has signed for Altrincham in the National League, while Fernandez, Iontton and Kurran-Browne have all put pen-to-paper for Hampton and Richmond Borough in the National League South.
The Linnets remain in contract negotiations with both skipper Michael Clunan and defender Aaron Jones.
Baris Altintop, Josh Barrett, Pierce Bird, Daniel Bowry, Kyle Callan-McFadden, Ken Charles, Gold Omotayo and Munashe Sundire currently remain under contract for the 2022/23 season, although there could be further movements in the next few weeks.
