New King's Lynn Town signing Harry Phipps has his sights on maintaining the club's National League status.

The attacking midfielder became Lynn's second new face this week after signing on loan from league rivals Dagenham and Redbridge for the remainder of the season.

After putting pen-to-paper for Lynn, Phipps said: "I am delighted to be joining the club and have only one aim. That is, to help them win enough matches through the rest of the season, with the conclusion that the Linnets remain in the National League."

Phipps, who started his career with Margate, signed for the Daggers from Maidstone United in the summer of 2018.

The youngster spent two seasons with the Stones, where he also enjoyed brief loan spells with Welling United and East Thurrock.

The exciting midfielder was ruled out for the entire 2020/21 after suffering a cruciate injury in a game against Chelmsford City.

He has featured in four games for the Daggers this campaign, one of which came in the Essex side's 2-1 victory at The Walks last September.

Phipps, who has been handed the number 25 shirt, goes straight into the squad for tomorrow night's National League clash at Southend United, along with Zain Walker and Olly Scott, who both signed permanent deals at The Walks until the end of the current campaign earlier this week.
