King's Lynn Town's National League fixture at Grimsby Town has been arranged for early next month.

The original fixture, which should have taken place on December 28, was postponed due to a number of positive Covid cases in the Mariners camp.

A statement on the Grimsby Town website a short while ago read: "Grimsby Town Football Club can confirm that a new date has been set for our home fixture vs. King’s Lynn Town, originally scheduled for December 28, 2021.

"The fixture will now take place on Tuesday, February 8, and will kick-off at 7:45pm.

"Tickets purchased for the original fixture remain valid for the new date, with those unable to attend the rearranged date being able to receive a full refund.

"Refunds can be claimed directly from the Blundell Park ticket office or by calling 01472 605050 for further information.

"Tickets for the fixture can be purchased directly from the Blundell Park ticket office, calling 01472 605050 or by visiting our online ticket portal from 10am on Thursday, January 13."

The rearranged fixture leaves Lynn with ten league and cup games between now and the end of February after the Woking game at The Walks was rearranged for a week later on Tuesday, February 15.
