Live updates from Plainmoor as Torquay United entertain King's Lynn Town in the National League.

Follow live and exclusive updates from Lynn News sports editor Greg Plummer from 2pm as Ian Culverhouse's side travel to Devon to take on Gary Johnson's Torquay United.

King's Lynn Town will look to build on their first home win of the season – an FA Cup success over Peterborough Sports – at 14th-placed Torquay United this afternoon.

Three points would see Lynn leapfrog their hosts in the table.

The Linnets might be able to take advantage of Torquay's disappointment having played, and lost to, Havant and Waterlooville on Wednesday evening to see the end of their FA Cup progress.

When Lynn met the Gulls at The Walks last December they were to top the league and Lynn became the first team to keep a clean sheet against them.

By the time the clubs met again in March, Torquay were struggling to keep the play-offs in sight but they rallied to end the season in second place only to lose in the play-off final to Hartlepool on penalties.

The Linnets have been in impressive form on the road this season, winning two of their four games on their travels.

The last time they visited the west country back in August they came from behind to beat Yeovil 2-1.
