King’s Lynn Stars fans have the opportunity to be a team manager for the day when Lewis Kerr hosts his testimonial in March.

Kerr has confirmed the event, on Sunday, March 20, will be a four team tournament and with the Stars position already taken there are three spots available to be a boss.

It’s an idea which has been used in other testimonial and benefit meetings and it works well with the chance of a lifetime for fans.

Said Kerr: “The King’s Lynn team manager position has been sold but the other three are still up for grabs. It will be great for the fans to be on the other side of the fence for a day and see what it feels like to be the boss.

“Things are going really well behind the scenes with the meeting and it’s all coming together nicely but there are still a few opportunities for people to get involved.

“If anyone is interested they can email lewiskerrtestimonial@gmail.com and we will give them all the details of what’s still on offer.”

Stars racer Richard Lawson has confirmed he will figure in the meeting and Belle Vue’s new signing Norick Blödorn has also agreed.

“Richard is a team mate at King’s Lynn and we get on really well,” said Kerr.

“He had some bad luck with clubs last season and came to Lynn and didn’t really put a foot wrong.

“He scored big points in every meeting and I’m looking forward to being his team mate again this season.

“Norick is a hot prospect to come out of Germany. I don’t know that much about him but he has plenty of talent and a lot of people in the sport rate him highly. I’m sure the fans will be looking forward to see what he can achieve.”
