Lynn Stars out to complete a magical Manchester hat-trick

King's Lynn Stars boss Dale Allitt wants to pull off a magical Manchester hat-trick in the crunch Premiership Play-Off semi-final on Monday night.

The inspirational Tru Plant Stars chief admits his charges are fired-up to produce their third win at Belle Vue’s National Speedway Stadium in just five months.

Lynn have been the only side to win on the racy, pacy circuit with two pivotal victories during the league campaign.

But he also knows those wins count for nothing now it’s Play-Off time.

Allitt revealed: “We’ll be going to the National Speedway Stadium to win of course in the play-off semi-final first leg against Belle Vue.

“It’s a track our riders ride well and of course we’re guaranteed some fabulous speedway racing too.

“To have won their twice this year has been phenomenal. However those two wins mean nothing right now. We all start equal again but the boys are ready.

“Win, lose or draw though, it will be the old cliché of ‘it’s only half time’ come 9.30pm on Monday night and there’ll still be plenty to do regardless of the outcome back at the Adrian Flux Arena in the second leg.

“I know I have said it time and time again this season, but the fans support really does spur the Stars riders on so much and I hope they can all turn out in big numbers and bring a friend, a relative, a colleague or a neighbour and let’s pack our stadium out for the biggest Lynn meeting for years.

“Let’s hope we have another big meeting to come as well with the final.

“The double is on with the KO Cup. This is a great time for the club and we want the fans to be part of something very special.”
