King's Lynn martial arts students make their mark at 2019 TAGB Welsh Championships in Cardiff

The TAGB Welsh Championships 2019 were held at Cardiff University and 18 students from the Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do took part.

Students contested pattern, sparring, destruction, power test and team sparring events.

Some 28 fighting areas ran throughout the day, with more than 1,000 competitors and 300 officials.

The school stated: “To win any award at this event is a very serious achievement, so very well done to the students who achieved placings.

“We are now working towards many other championships to be held over the next few months.”

Results, Lynn: Spencer Dawes boys’ red belt team sparring 2nd; Tillie Flanagan girls’ blue belt sparring 1st, girls’ blue belt team sparring 2nd, girls’ blue belt power pad hand 1st, girls’ blue belt power pad foot 3rd; Kasey Grimes girls’ red belt team sparring 2nd, girls’ red belt power pad hand 3rd, girls’ red belt power pad foot 2nd; Gividas Norvilas boys’ red belt power pad foot 3rd.
