We are into the last month of the Nar Valley Fisheries coarse fishing season and with the weather improving the prospect of a big carp or pike turning up is very good.

A number of double figure and 20lb carp have been reported from Fenn Lake and Lake Geneva over the past couple of weeks. Membership renewals have been issued, so members not receiving a letter should contact Chris on 01553 636507.

The over-wintered trout of Hobbs Lake (PE32 1JT) are now being seen in the upper reaches of the water on the brighter, warmer days and expected to be on good form tomorrow for a trout fishing open day. Gates will open at 9am and day permits for catch and release flyfishing will be free of charge on the day.
