Girls teams from Bury Town Football Club completed a unique treble at the Suffolk FA Youth Cup finals day on Sunday.
There was triple joy for the club, who won the Girls’ Under-12, Under-13 and Under-14 Cups.
The Under-15 Boys’ Minor Cup was the centrepiece of the afternoon, which featured six county cup finals in all.
Sporting 87 proved perfect hosts as the sun shone brightly.
Needham Market came from a goal down to win the final of the Suffolk FA Under-15 Boys’ Minor Cup, sponsored by Days Sports.
Josh Buckles scored twice in the second period to cancel out Luke Moule’s openerfor Haverhill Rovers at Sunday’s Youth Cup Finals Day sponsored by DE Photo.
Moule put Rovers ahead after just ten minutes in the final at the Victory Ground, home of Sporting 87 FC.
He brilliantly turned his marker on the edge of the penalty area and curling his shot into the top far corner of the net.
Rovers kept their noses in front until the 58th minute, Buckles chesting down a cross and shooting home on the half-volley.
The winning goal arrived ten minutes later, with Buckles finding the bottom corner following a cross into the Haverhill penalty area.
The other two finals saw victories for Ipswich Valley Rangers Under-12 Boys and Felixstowe and amp; Walton United Under-14 Boys.
