Two weeks to go and several questions regarding relegation and promotion are still to be answered in the Norfolk Sunday Cricket League.
Snettisham, already champions of Level 1, will be playing in the Alliance next season.
The next two – Sandringham and Kirkley and Belton – both won at the weekend, Sandringham beating already relegated Blundeston, with Callum Lee taking 7-27.
Kirkley and Belton had a tighter affair.
Restricted to 154, Felthorpe made them work hard, led by 50 from Steven Ridout, but eventually they won by 13 runs.
Saxlingham helped their battle against relegation, beating Gt Yarmouth, Tom Browes taking 5-37 and Craig Beedon scored 58no.
Alex Evans made 56 for Yarmouth.
In Level 2 West, Castle Rising continue to lead, but Castle Acre are pushing them, having a game in hand.
Castle Rising’s Darren Clarke made 109 not out, and Manesh Pandy took 5-25 in their win over Reepham and Salle.
Nick Whales made 71 for Castle Acre in their victory over East Harling.
At the bottom, Gooderstone beat Heacham and North Elmham lost to Northwold to keep it very tight.
3 West is getting interesting.
Narborough, currently leading, lost to form side Holt, for whom Mark Spillet made 61, whilst Narborough’s Dan King took 4-32.
Beetley’s Gary Hinchliffe made 54 as they beat Dersingham A and Saham Toney had a good win at Beeston with Dave Ellis making 86, Xavier Huckle 51 and Dan Bowman took 4-39.
4 North West saw the top two meet, Thornham coming out on top against Snettisham A with Billy Brotherton taking 5-25 and Chris Burgess scoring 52.
Castle Rising A lost to Denver A despite Steve Long making 103. Denver’s Harvey Ward made 68no and Dan Clifton made 50no.
