Dersingham Institute Bowls Club held a charity day in aid of their chosen charity which this year is the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Thanks go to Richard Burden for organising the bowls format in which 12 triples teams played for points against one another.

The winning block was Dick Murrell, Alan Coulson and Graham Keeley, runners-up were Helen Young’s block with James Wadey and Joy Kelly. All bowlers and guests enjoyed a buffet provided by the club’s ladies, while a raffle took the total raised on the day to £325.20.

The club would like to say a huge thank you to their sponsors who were Silk Road, Sandringham Estate, Spar, Thaxters, Budgens and The Cutting Crew.

The club will continue to raise money until the end of the season and will present a cheque then.

On Saturday (16) the club is holding a Table Top Sale at the club’s Manor Road ground, 10am-4.30pm.
