West Norfolk Honda Cadet driver Oliver Clarke had an excellent series of results in the third round of the British Championship Super One Series in Larkhall, Scotland, at the weekend.
The 12-year-old from near Downham won the first heat and came second in the second. In the pre–final he finished third so started the final on that grid position. He quickly converted that position to second and he and a fellow driver managed to break away from the pack and gained a lead by the last lap of over 10 seconds.
Getting ready to make a move for the top spot, Clarke was disappointed that the race was red-flagged so was unable to convert second to first place.
Delighted by his set of results Clarke is still leading the British Championships by 15 points and is looking forward to August when there are two rounds in the month. The Scotland round will air on Motors TV on Monday, August 3 and will also be uploaded to the Superone Series YouTube channel that evening.
