Members of Three Counties Running Club have been in action across two counties this weekend.

There was success for Bex Cousins at Boston 5K Parkrun, finishing third overall and the first female and 25-29 with a personal best for the course.

At the King’s Lynn Parkrun, Richard, Justeene and Joseph Hammond and Joely Apps rested but volunteered as marshals on the course.

Members took part in the Huntingdon 10K and 3K, Misha-Zee Grant also completing her first-ever 10K.

The club entered their first team event on Sunday.

Their three teams, aptly named Lincoln, Norfolk and Cambridge, competed in the seven-stage Green Wheel Relay circumnavigating Peterborough.

The runners couldn’t have done it without their bike support consisting of Dean Clark, James Rhodes, Martin Clark, Sue George, Colin Simpson, Stacey Martin, Marc Martin, Stuart Harrison, Tayo Willett. Results from these events are in the above panel. If you want to join the club which has sessions in Downham, see
