Hockwold moved back to the top of Division One with a comfortable eight-wicket win against Sandringham.

David Spencer took 4 for 15 and Roy Bland 3 for 25 to leave Sandringham in trouble at 87 for 8 before they reached 143 for 9 in their 45 overs.

Joel Gilmour smashed 93 and shared in an unbeaten partnership of 81 with Roy Bland 34no to reach the victory target in the 30th over.

Lewis Jeavons scored 51 and Matthew Herbert 57no as Snettisham reached 202 for 8 with J Chima taking 3 for 35. Gary Raines took 3 for 30 but an unbeaten 65 from Roshan Samarathunga saw Castle Rising to victory by four wickets with four balls to spare.

Shane Fisher took 4 for 34 as Denver were bowled all out for 136. Richard Eke scored 37 and an unbeaten 56 from Matthew Castellan saw Hillington to victory by seven wickets after 29 overs.

The bottom two met at Northwold where Ash Drohan scored 36 and Jason Plumpton 33 as Northwold reached 170 for 8. David English took 3 for 8 in his 10 overs and D Fuller 3 for 24 as Heacham were bowled out for 103.

Division Two

Only a point separates the top two with Gooderstone on top after their five-wicket victory over Holt.

Mark Spillett scored 45 and Robin Thaxter 51no as they put on 95 for the second wicket as Holt reached 140 for 4 in their 45 overs. After being reduced to 41 for 4, Kevin Bandy 46no and Stephen Carter 49 put on 84 for the fifth wicket to help see Gooderstone to victory in the 34th over.

Second placed Sandringham A were awarded 18 points as Downham B were unable to raise a team.

Castle Acre suffered their first defeat in a high scoring game against Narborough A. Brothers Matthew Coe 71 and Jonathan Coe 104 put on 184 for the second wicket as Narborough A posted a challenging total of 256 for 7.

Daniel Cross scored 61 and Tom Brown 50 as Castle Acre’s innings closed on 232 for 5 to lose by 24 runs.

Kevin Fisher took 3 for 16 to help restrict Fakenham 3rds to 94 for 9. Ambit Projects MoM Santosh Bakka scored an unbeaten 37 to go with his 2 for 11 to see Hospital to victory in the 27th over by five wickets with Jack Wells taking 4 for 28.

Division Three

Dersingham A and Bircham A are joint leaders on 83 points with Gayton just a point behind.

Gayton ended Bircham’s unbeaten start to the season. Batting first Gayton scored 178 with D Fysh top scoring with 39 and Shane Rowe taking 3 for 30.

Only Robin Tuck reached double figures with 33 as T Wallace mopped up the tail to take 4 for 11 and bowl out Bircham A for 92.

William Pennington scored 32 and Ben Southgate 30 as Dersingham A reached 170 all out with Daniel Clifton taking 3 for 23.

Martyn Wardle scored 37 as Denver A reached 130 all out with Ben Southgate and Jack Cotton both taking 3 for 27 to see them home to victory by 40 runs.

Trevor Dyer scored 46 in Castle Rising A’s total of 153 for 6.

An opening stand of 84 between Danny Suckling 43 and Steve Grief 62no got Snettisham A off to a good start with Steve and Connor Grief 30no putting on another 72 to see them home to a nine-wicket victory in the 20th over.

Aslam Mohamed scored 54 in Gooderstone A’s total of 151 all out with Ryan Bradbury taking 3 for 22 and Ben Mills 3 for 22.

Tony Exley 65no and Josh Joachim 30no saw Swaffham A home to victory by four wickets in the 28th over.
