Fakenham cueman Cator wins Norfolk Grandmaster billiards title

Have your say

Chris Cator (from Fakenham, and pictured) won this year’s Norfolk Grandmasters Billiards Championship, defeating reigning champion Mick Cooper (West Acre) in the final.

The event, now in its 19th year, drew a record and closed entry of 16 players to Hetheresett Social Club who kindly hosted the event for the first time.

Cooper’s 73 was the event’s highest break of the event, although five other players recorded breaks in excess of 40 during the Championship, which was a high standard event.

Many thanks to Adrian Elvin who acted as tournament director for this event.
