Farnham King’s Lynn school duo land Midlands gold medals

The Mark Farnham Schools provided 82 competitors at the TAGB Midlands Championships 2015 event at Kettering Sports Village.

The Schools also provided 14 officials and well over 60 spectators who all travelled over on the day. Some 15 fighting areas ran throughout the day, with over 800 competitors.

These students took part in Pattern, Sparring and Team Sparring events and also for the Black Belts Destruction.

The Schools landed a very respectable total of 37 awards at the championships.

Lynn results: Andrew Fitzgerald Boys’ Blue Belt Sparring 3rd; Alaina Hardy Ladies Blue Belt Sparring 3rd, Ladies Blue Belt Patterns 3rd; Callum Hunter Men’s Black Belt Sparring 1st; Ryan Kirby Men’s Green Belt Patterns 2nd; James Russell Boys’ Black Belt Sparring 3rd; Harry Russell Boys’ Red Belt Sparring 3rd, Boys’ Red Belt Patterns 3rd, Boys Red Belt Team Sparring 1st; Martin Thorpe Men’s Black Belt Sparring 3rd.
