Local life coach and touch rugby player Soul Phoenix has partnered with Alive Leisure to provide some simple solutions to improving fitness motivation.
In a free workshop to be held at Lynnsport next Wednesday (7-9.30pm) Soul, who has important fitness goals of his own to achieve, will lift the lid on the psychology of high achievers.
“I’ve recently been selected for the England training squad for the European Touch Rugby Championships next year, so there’s lots of hard work ahead to try to make the final squad. It’s got me focused on the principles of maintaining motivation and momentum so this is just about sharing my understanding with my fellow gym goers and really anyone that has personal fitness goals.”

West 65 Norwich O
The West Norfolk and Norwich teams took their first steps into the senior format of the 15-a-side game on Sunday.
A great team effort by West and a well-deserved first win of the season.
With only five minutes on the clock a well worked series of phases by West resulted in the first score of many for centre, Ben Hall.
The backrow combination of McCallister, Turner and Long worked relentlessly with scrum half Hemeter to frustrate Norwich, starving them of possession.
Fast turnover ball was ably distributed by Langley at 10, providing the back line of Hall, Turner, Burgess, Turnbull and Riches plenty of opportunity to stretch the Norwich defensive line resulting in 11 well-worked tries.
Excellent tackling and mauling work from Haird, McDermott, Camus, Roper and Rippengill.
