Hunstanton Golf Club Seniors have won the ‘Humid’ trophy at the seventh attempt.

Friendly matches between Middleton and Hunstanton golf club seniors sections have an extra competitive element.

The club winning the most games over the home and away legs wins the Humid Trophy.

It was first played in 2010, when there was a half, but since then Middleton Hall have won the trophy every year – until now.

Last week Hunstanton held Middleton, the home side, to a 3-3 draw and after previously winning 4-2 at home they win the Humid Trophy for the first time.

Results: Chris Hudson & Tim Boldero won 3&1 v Jim Hyde & John Nudds, Barry Fox & Chris Moore won 1 up v Jim Drake & Chris Smith, Gordon Bidwell & Mike Freedman lost 1 down v David Tate & George Morton, Robin Burton & Steve Thompson won 3&1 v David Bingham & Colin Page, Malcolm Doughty & Kerbad Daboo lost 2 down v John Green & John Means.

Result: Match drawn.
