King’s Lynn Fury are reaching out to local sports fans in West Norfolk for this weekend’s vital clash against Anglia Ruskin University.

A win will see them all but secure a play-off spot in the end of season National League Development League South East Division showcase.

With a change of time for tip off in tomorrow’s (Saturday 27) vital home clash to 3pm, Fury are offering King’s Lynn Town FC season ticket holders concessionary prices of £3 on the door in a bid to open up to the town’s sports-mad fans.

Fury club promoter Kevin Holland said: “With Gary Setchell’s first team away this weekend in a play-off push game themselves, many football fans might want to come down to Lynnsport and see what all the fuss is about.

“We normally tip at 6pm but due to another event at Lynnsport in the evening, we have switched to 3pm, the traditional football kick-off time.”

He went on: “When King’s Lynn Town are at home we usually get a dozen or so football fans make their way across to Lynnsport after a football match; families mainly but a few long standing fans as well.

“As the football fans will be starved of first team action this weekend, we thought we could fill that void and welcome them in and see the town’s National League team in action.

“It’s a much faster game than football and extremely loud in the stands.

“We’re a big family club and crowds have been rising over the last few years.

“We do what we can to entertain with on-court competitions during time-outs and the breaks between the quarters so there’s plenty of involvement and crowd participation.”
