Personal best times were aplenty for Three Counties Running Club at King’s Lynn Parkrun on Saturday.
After five years of trying, Adam Chown achieved a PB with his first sub-20 Parkrun running in 13th overall and first in his age category. Anthony Betts was next in for TCRC with a fantastic 22:54.
There was a nice little battle between Sarah Melton-Whitelam, Adele O’Connor and Tony Lamb who all finished with big PBs - though the ladies pipped Tony to the post with Sarah leading the way, seconds ahead of Steve Rhodes.
There were also PB’s for Kathryn Betts, who was paced by Colin Apps, and Sarah Lamb at Lynn, who both had great runs. Frances Salter also had a good run after a few weeks off.
On Sunday, three members took to Silverstone to take on the Silverstone Half Marathon. For Lauren Day this was her last training run before she competes in the London Marathon whilst for Jo Garner, this was her first ever half marathon, both ladies ran brilliantly.
Jonny Clark added to his already high mileage of the year with a awesome sub two-hour time.
