Pelicans Ladies 3rd XI stormed to the top of their league in style on Saturday with an emphatic 6-0 win over Carrow 3rds.
Once the team had settled they opened the scoring through Ellie Burt from a rocket of a short corner strike.
The goal gave the young side the confidence to press forward and before long a second goal was added, this time Holly Jillings slotting the ball home from the far post.
Towards the end of the first half two more short corner conversions saw Pelicans go into the break with a 4-0 lead.
The second half followed a similar pattern with Pelis creating some great moves all over the pitch. India Gibson scored from close range for the fifth and the final goal came from a shot to the far corner from Burt.
After the game the opposition were very complimentary about the style of play and how well Pelis passed the ball around and worked for each other.
There were some notable performances from Louisa Claxton and Emily Tompkins and the Bourne Hall player of the match was Ellie Burt.
