King’s Lynn under 15’s team played their final games against Herne Bay, Cottenham Y and Peterborough W at Sudbury Sports Centre.

The whole team played with passion, pride and determination in all games and were well led by Finley Griffin. Lynn’s goalkeeper Harry Dugdale showed her great reflexes and shot stopping.

First opponents Herne Bay, who had not been beaten all year, tried everything to break the defence.

Lynn were unlucky not to get a late winning goal.

Final score Lynn 2-2 Herne Bay (goal scorer Ethan Shread).

The second game was against Cottenham which was also tough. Lynn tried everything to break the defence but were caught out on quick breaks.

Score: Lynn 1-5 Cottenham (scorer Griffin).

In the entertaining final match against Peterborough Whites, Lynn took control with amazing passing and defending. Myah Easter, who has been used as sub all year, got her name on the score sheet for the first time.

Final score: Lynn 8-3 Peterborough W (scorers Harvey Dugdale, Myah Easter 2, Joseph Hawes 2, Shread 3).

The team played amazingly against older and bigger teams. A big thanks to the family members and friends that have supported; and to MKM Building Supplies Ltd for their continued support.

Team on the day: Harry Dugdale (GK) Finley Griffin (C), Harvey Dugdale, Myah Easter, Ethan Shread, Joseph Hawes.
