King’s Lynn Coastal Rowing Club have announced the launching of the Ouse Réwet, its second St Ayles Skiff.

After a year of building and preparation, KLCRC’s second boat is ready to take to the River Great Ouse on Saturday, April 30, at 11am. This will be at the Slipway, Common Staithe Quay, King’s Lynn, PE30 1LN.

People can come and watch the second St Ayles Skiff, Ouse Réwet, being launched, at the public slipway in the car park behind the Corn Exchange, Tuesday Market Place, Lynn.

The antics may also be viewed from the river balconies of the Ouse Amateur Sailing Club in Ferry Lane where the bar will be open from 10am, or the Crown & Mitre pub. Boats are also expected from Blakeney and Denver on the water for a ‘row-past’.

The club has issued an invitation to join, and get involved in building, launching and racing St Ayles skiffs in Norfolk and beyond. Find out more at
