One of the biggest meetings of the season comes to Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena tomorrow when the two-litre saloon stock car English Championship and unlimited banger East Anglian Championship takes place.
Capacity fields for both formulas means that the pits will be jam-packed with cars.
The near-100 car entry of unlimited bangers is full of East Anglia’s biggest names and many of the sport’s stars from further afield.
Looking to uphold home honour will be Lynn’s Darren Fendley, the two-litre banger World Champion.
Fellow hometown racers Callum Gill – who was a heat winner in the 1500cc bangers a fortnight ago – and Rob Aldridge will also be on the hunt for success, as will the Swaffham brothers of Terry and Ashley Garrod.
The East Anglian Championship will be defended by Norwich-based Ryan Preston, who will race alongside team-mate Lee Clarke.
Between them, they have won the title in each of the last three years.
The popular Predators team will be represented by Lynn’s Kieran Bowman.
Bowman has also qualified well for the white and yellow grade series final which will open proceedings.
Lynn drivers Jake Burgess, Simon Eglen, Andy Frost and Chris Loveridge will also be on the grid for the same race.
Looking to add the English Championship crown to his British saloon stock car title, will be Rougham racer Lee Sampson.
He and his brother Jamie, plus Heacham’s Willie Skoyles junior lead the local challenge in the formula’s biggest event of the season at the track.
