The seasons have definitely changed and with it the carp of Nar Valley Fisheries Lake Geneva have responded by getting on the feed.

A good number of 30lb-plus fish have been landed from all areas of the venue, being topped by a new fisheries record.

The captor of the big carp was Christian Lanchester, a new member for this season who is a train driver from Lynn. Lanchester has spent a number of nights fishing getting to grips with this water and managed to bank three fish so far. The latest is this superb mirror carp of 43lb 8oz hooked at 6am in the morning on boilie and after a strong 10-15 minute battle was slid in to the net.

This is a new complex record topping the other two 40lb-plus claims earlier this season.
