Sunday, February 22 sees a Reliability Ride which is an annual event organised by King’s Lynn Cycling Club.

Setting off from Alive Lynnsport in Lynn, there will be two distances available to choose from: 50k or 100k and speed determined groups within each distance.

100k Route groups: Cappuccino Group departs at 09.00 with target time being 4 hours 10 minutes to 4 hours 45 min. Espresso Group departs at 09.15 (target – 3 hours 30 min to 4 hours 5 min).

50k Route groups: Cappuccino departs at 09.30 (target – 2 hours 10 min to 2 hours 40 min). Espresso departs at 09.45 (target – 1 hour 40 min to 2 hours 10 min).

For anyone new to a Reliability Ride, in this event you aim to ride a route within a pre-set time, deciding at signing on which route and which target time band.

This is an opportunity for any cyclist to ride with others in a group within a time period.

There is no pre-entering and no limit to numbers on the day.

Just sign up at the Alive Lynnsport bar before each groups depart and check in with the timekeeper and at start and end of the ride, your results will then appear on the club’s website with either “On Time”, Too Fast” or “Too Slow”.

This is a non-competitive event and riders participate entirely at their own risk. No responsibility can be attached to the organiser or club members.
