The Craig Prior Memorial Fund, which was set up to raise funds for a scrummage machine for use by amateur rugby players within the community, was presented to Fakenham Rugby Club at their luncheon on Saturday.
The Fund, which was set up in memory of former Fakenham Rugby Club teenager Craig, has raised £7,500 to pay for the machine. Fund-raising activities continue with a memorial tournament on Easter Sunday, April 5.
The former Fakenham Infant, Junior and High School pupil died in February 2014 and himself had planned to fund-raise for the new scrummage machine last summer.
Donations to the Craig Prior Memorial Fund can be made by calling Craig’s older brother Mr Roger Palmer on 07880 728412 or go online to: https://www.facebook.com/Ripcraigprior
